In a saucepan NOT over heat whisk together wasabi powder and water until smooth allow to sit for 5 minutes. Transfer to wide shallow bowl and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a small sauce pan.

Place the peas in a shallow dish for dredging such as a pie pan and mix in some black sesame seeds. Add vinaigrette and gently toss. Step 2 Lay the tuna fillets into a glass baking dish.

Remove tuna from freezer and unwrap. Add some oil to lightly coat the pan. Pulse the wasabi peas in a small food processor until it forms a course powder.

Drizzle sesame oil on both sides of each tuna steaks. Remove from the pan and slice thinly. For the wasabi vinaigrette.

Heat the oil in a pan over medium-hight heat press the sesame seeds into the tuna on all sides place the tuna in the pan and sear for about 1-2 minutes per side or to the desired level of doneness before setting aside for a few minutes and slicing. Remove ahi from the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking.
